Your story is incredible! I certainly hope Jamie gets justice and I will be praying for her (and you).
With regard to Jamie's CP, I would invite you to visit www.Hemikids.org and join the group. It is comprised of the parents of children with Hemiplegia/hemiparesis as a result of CP. It sounds like the form of CP that Jamie has (mainly one side)... It is an extremely supportive group! Anyway, I hope to chat with you more through Hemikids.
