April 16, 1998 - Called Abuse and Neglect at 2:25p.m.  Talked to Sue.  She said that her supervisor, Sandy Durgan, reviewed the case and that there was nothing they could do. Advised us to take it to Civil Court.

April 15, 1998 - Called Abuse and Neglect to talk to Sue at 9:30a.m.  I left message.  Called again at 2:00p.m.  Talked to Sue and she said she would call me back.  Never called back that day.

April 1, 1998 - Met with Sue Paglero of Abuse and Neglect for Children at 9:00a.m.  Showed her Jamie’s video and the Officer’s Report, which had her name on it.  Asked her why no criminal charges were brought against Daniel Orr for abusing a handicapped child.  She said she did not know anything about it.  She seemed very upset about the video and asked if a police photographer ever came to the hospital to take pictures.  I told her no one but the officer came out.  I also told her the only pictures taken were the ones the hospital took and the video we took.  She went to talk to her supervisor Sandy Durgan. This was our third visit to this office in four years; and this was the first time anyone would look at the videotape.  I was told before when we came in that they would investigate this case. However, no one would ever put anything in writing to his or her findings. Again, Sue came back and said that they would have to investigate this case and she would get back to me.

March 26, 1998 - Called Abuse and Neglect for Children.  Made appointment with Sue Paglero, formerly Sue Wellington, for April 1,1998.

March 23, 1998 - Candy Bird from Internal Affairs called.  Told us that she would talk to Abuse and Neglect for Children about our case.
